There are times when we are called to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter into a deeper relationship with ourselves, the natural world, and the intelligence of the plants.

This November, Avatar Centre will open its doors for an intimate Plant Medicine Dieta Retreat in the Peruvian Amazon.

Held within the living environment of the jungle, this retreat brings together traditional plant dieta, ceremonial work with Huachuma, embodiment teachings, ancestral healing, channelling, and intentional periods of rest and integration.

Rather than approaching healing as something that needs to be forced, the dieta creates a space for listening — allowing what is ready to be seen, released, remembered, and integrated to emerge in its own timing.

The Plant Dieta

Participants will have the opportunity to enter into dieta with one of the following plants, selected according to the individual and the intentions of their process:

Rose
A gentle yet profound ally for the heart, emotional opening, self-love, grief, receptivity, boundaries, and our relationship with love.

Bobinsana
Traditionally worked with in Amazonian plant dieta practices and associated with emotional sensitivity, heart-opening, dreams, connection, and deeper listening.

Noya Rao — Tree of Light
A revered Amazonian master plant associated within certain traditions with illumination, spiritual learning, energetic refinement, and deepening one’s relationship with the unseen world.

The dieta is not simply the consumption of a plant. It is a period of intentional relationship, simplicity, contemplation, and listening, supported by the environment, food, teachings, and integration practices.

Huachuma Ceremony

The retreat will include ceremonial work with Huachuma (San Pedro).

Huachuma has a long history of ceremonial use in the Andes and is traditionally approached as a heart-centered plant teacher. The ceremony will be held within an intentional container, allowing participants extended time for inward reflection, connection with nature, and integration.

Teachings & Integration

The plant work will be woven together with teachings and practices developed through my years of healing, ceremonial, and embodiment work.

Depending upon the needs of the group, these may include:

• IFS-informed inner work and exploration of the different parts of the self

• IFC and embodied integration practices

• The Spiral of Discovery — moving beyond comparison and linear ideas of healing into a deeper understanding of our individual cycles of growth

• Embodiment teachings for bringing insight into everyday choices, relationships, boundaries, and values

• Channelling teachings from the Ancient Ones

• Ancestral clearing and exploration of inherited patterns

• Guided reflection and integration circles

• Periods of silence, rest, journaling, and personal contemplation

The intention is not simply to have a profound experience, but to create the conditions for what is revealed to become integrated into how we live.

Guidance throughout your dieta and support in understanding and integrating what arises.

Ceremony & teachings
Huachuma ceremonial work, embodiment teachings, channelling, ancestral work, group integration, and contemplative practices.

14-Day Plant Medicine Immersion

November 7–21, 2026
$2,300 USD

For those who feel called to remain in the dieta container longer, the two-week immersion provides additional time for the relationship with the plant to deepen and for insights to settle into the body.

The extended retreat allows more spaciousness for rest, personal process, teachings, integration, and continued plant work.
